We are always on the look out for nonprofit groups who are working to protect our lakes. Without their hard work many of the places we love would not be so lovable. We try to support these groups any way we can so they can continue their important work.We are big fans of Aimee and Rob Janes who launched the Lake Winnipesaukee Annual Clean Up in 2018. By all account it was a huge success and they are back again in 2019.Volunteers from around the Lake Winnipesaukee community set out on the day of the clean-up in search of trash along the shoreline. Later in the morning the volunteers make their way to clean-up headquarters at Shep Brown's Boat Basin in Meredith, NH to drop off their haul. The 2019 Lake Winnipesaukee Annual Clean-up will take place on June 1st. Check out these pics from last year... the mound of debris collected was impressive!
